Project description
This PSOM project has 5 components or Results:
- Result 1: Business foundation, establishment of the joint venture “OKEGUABO” with Agrofair Europe B.V.
- Result 2: Communal farm of 60 ha with all installations and s system of precision agriculture in place for harvest programming.
- Result 3: Establishment of an integrated quality management and information system of the hundreds of farms of small producers; installation of cold stores; installation of 3 weather stations.
- Result 4: Establishment of a system for terrestial Sigatoka control in several units, and of a recycling unit of used plastic.
- Result 5: Certification of the communal farm, compliance with productivity goals, renewed website; updated business plan.
